Ellen’s Meatballs
Description: I always thought that Ellen made the BEST meatballs. She usually brought them to the reunions.

Total time: 1.5 hours

Serving size: 2 meatballs
Ingredients
2 pounds of Ground Beef
1 small onion (chopped)
2 eggs
2 cloves of garlic (Crushed)
1 cup oatmeal
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon dried basil
1 teaspoon dried marjoram
1 teaspoon dried parsley
1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
Method
Combine all ingredients into a bowl
Form into 24 ball
Brown them in a frying pan in some oil (optional)
Place them into a saucepan of your favourite red pasta sauce and bring to a boil.
Reduce heat to simmer, stirring frequently to prevent sauce and meatballs from sticking.
Cook for 1 hour or more.
Serve with spaghetti, rigatoni, or any pasta. Great for sandwiches or subs the next day.
