Pizzelles

Description: A special occasion just wasn’t special if it didn’t include Grandma’s Pizzelles.

Serving size: 1 pizzelle

Ingredients

  • 1 doz. large eggs
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups oil
  • 2 tsps. vanilla
  • 3 cups flour

Method

  1. Heat pizzelle iron
  2. Combine wet ingredients in a large bowl.
  3. Combine dry ingredients in a second bowl.
  4. Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients. Whisk until smooth.
  5. Add the required amount of batter to the pizzelle maker. (as per manufactures suggestion)
  6. Cook pizzelle until it is just beginning to get a bit of golden brown.
  7. Repeat with remaining batter.
